Turf Warehouse installed a new artificial grass installtion for Ciara Harrington based in Muirhead, Glasgow.

Artificial Grass Used:

38mm Woodland artificial lawn

Project Details:

– Removal of large trees
– Remove lots of bushes and shrubs
– Dog large sumps in garden to fix excess water issue

Customer concerns:

The garden was very messy with quite a bit of water lying. There were also some large trees and bushes the customer required moving, basically the client wanted most of the garden ripped out, cleared up and levelled off and free of lying water so we could then lay our 38mm Natural Artificial Grass.

This wasn’t quite your run of the mill project and needed a little extra time and thought to get things right.

Company Undertaking:

Our first undertaking her was to make sure the tree surgeon we assigned got the area cleared of the large trees and most of the thick bushes. From there we then dug out any existing soft soil, laid enough hardcore to level off the area and then installed a wooden edging around the area concerned in order to separate the play area from the area where the shrubbery would be.

Once all the edging and levelling off was complete it was time to then concentrate on getting the final prep done (weed barrier, whin dust and screed the area off) for laying artificial grass and getting the garden where it should be.

Very professional and friendly company to deal with. The guys working on site were so polite and did an amazing job.

The drainage in our garden before hand was terrible. We could not walk on it most days. So nice being able to see our kids play out in it even in the rainy weather.
